A DAY WITH US
We depart at 09:00 from the North West pier. Once everybody is on board we start sailing outside the fjord of porto pozzo towards the islands of the archipelago. After roughly 20 min of navigation we will pass between the islands of Spargi and Spargiotto headed to the island of Budelli. When we reach the famous Spiaggia Rosa (Pink beach) on Budelli, which is now closed for natural conservation purposes, we get as close as possible to the beach to let you admire all its beauty and to allow you to take a few pictures. After that we sail along the coast until we reach the island of Santa Maria, where we gonna have our first stop of the day. This is one of the most beautiful places of the archipelago of la Maddalena. Once the North West II is anchored you can relax on the beach of Santa Maria.
We will spend an hour here, giving you time to enjoy the beach and the crystal clear water.
11:00 we are again on the go, ready to reach another amazing place, Cala Ferrigno on the island of Spargi. This bay is characterized by an old military pier now restored which we cross to view an incredible white house on the hill just behind the beach which dominates the entire scenery. Here you may enjoy the beach or if you are feeling adventurous you can stroll for a few minutes down a small path which will lead to an incredible hidden and fascinating bay named Cala Bonifazina.
12.30 the crew will be waiting you back on board so you may savor the tasty proposals of our kitchen. The lunch is always offered to our guests and consist of our signature main dish of pennette with a mussels and cuttlefish sauce, and muscles alla marinara as second dish. We offer as well white wine, water, coffee and mirto.
14:00 we leave Cala Ferrigno and sailing along the coast of Spargi we stop on another enchanted beach named Cala Granara. Here the sand is like a white powder and the sea has an unbelievable range of different colours. This is going to be our final stop of the day and will last almost 2 hours until 16:30.
While sailing back home we will pass another bay, Cala Corsara, where you will be able to admire the shapes of the sardinian granit carved through time by the power of mother nature. After a full day of sun, sea, nature and sand we aim to be back at the Porto Pozzo marina at 17:00 for the end of our excursion.
